Robert Upshur Woodward was born on the 26th of March, 1943. Woodward is an American Investigative journalist who has worked for the Washington Post since 1971. Woodward started at The Washington Post as a reporter, and he has risen through the ranks to become an associate editor. Bob Woodward is an alumnus of the prestigious Yale University where he studied History and English Literature and graduated in 1965. Bob also took graduate studies in Shakespearean literature and International Relations at the George Washington University while working with The Washington Post. Robert Woodward is famous for teaming up with Carl Bernstein to do much of the original news reporting on the Watergate scandal in 1972. Bob is happily married to Elsa Walsh.
